Eric Henry
Founding Attorney
I grew up and have lived my life in Northeast Ohio. I learned from an early age that success comes from hard work and discipline, and I embody that ethic in my practice of law.
In high school, I was an athlete — a wrestler and a cross country runner. I honed my competitive spirit, which I believe is an essential trait for a successful litigator.
I went to Kent State University where I graduated with high honors and dual degrees in English and Psychology. I worked three jobs to pay my way: in a warehouse, in construction, and as a reporter for a local newspaper.
I went to law school at Case Western Reserve University where I continued to make my own way, worked for a big firm in downtown Cleveland, and graduated with honors.
As a trial attorney, I have won my clients multimillion-dollar federal court verdicts, multimillion-dollar settlements, and life-changing financial recoveries in cases other lawyers said had no chance of succeeding.
“My heart is in helping people. People that get hurt, or lose a family member, because of someone's carelessness. I became a lawyer to do good for people who deserve it. I believe in being tough and I believe in being fair. When I'm your lawyer, I work for you.”

Megan Shore
Of Counsel
Attorney Megan Shore is a nationally recognized Plaintiff's attorney who litigates cases across the country involving nursing home abuse and neglect, assisted living abuse and neglect, sexual assault, medical malpractice, and birth injury.
Throughout her career her cases have been highly publicized in the media, including CBS, ABC local news, NBC 5 Chicago Nightly News, AARP, Law360, The Chicago Tribune, and The Daley Herald.
She serves on the executive committee of the American Association for Justice Nursing Home Litigation Group and has served as a consultant to AARP, the Department of Justice, and the Attorney General.
Megan won the first federal motion to remand within the 7th Circuit determining that nursing homes are not immune from liability pursuant to the PREP Act during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She has worked on birth injury cases resulting in multi-million dollar settlements and jury verdicts — including the largest obstetrical malpractice verdict in United States history at the time: $143 million.
“She is licensed to practice in both Illinois and Ohio and joined The Henry Law Firm of counsel in 2023.”

Benjamin Pfouts
Attorney
Benjamin P. Pfouts has spent his entire career representing those who have been injured or wronged due to the careless and reckless actions of others — taking on insurance companies and large corporations that refuse to take responsibility.
Ben has tried many jury trials in various northern and central Ohio courts. Many of the verdicts he obtained were more than double what the insurance company was willing to offer as a settlement.
Ben attributes his success to the unreasonable positions insurance companies often take, the amount of work and time he devotes to each case, and taking the time to truly listen to his clients.
In addition, Ben has successfully argued and won in multiple Courts of Appeals in Ohio, the Ohio Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
“When Ben isn't working for his clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters and watching Cleveland sports.”
