Manufacturing giant 3M Company recently settled claims that its “Dual Ended Combat Arms Earplugs” were too short to function properly. As a result, many veterans who relied on this product suffered hearing loss and tinnitus.

I come from a military family and this defective product has touched me. If 3M knew that it was providing a defective product to our military and did so anyway, it should pay dearly to those it hurt.
